UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Mobile Apps

Everbridge

Everbridge is a secure mobile safety application that will assist with the University of Mississippi’s COVID-19 contact tracing initiatives. While protecting individual privacy, the app uses Bluetooth technology to track and notify users of potential risk of infection or exposure within a community. Current faculty, staff, and students are eligible to use the app.

The contact tracing feature (private Bluetooth key exchange) between devices is fully operational on Android devices. For Apple devices, this is still pending approval from Apple and will be enabled automatically once this consent is received.

LiveSafe

LiveSafe is a mobile safety app that the University of Mississippi (UM) is providing to all students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni and visitors to download for free. This app provides a quick, convenient, and discreet way to communicate directly with UM safety officials to better protect you.
